@dominiek: When integrating with the Twitter API, which response format do you prefer?

I've created this poll because I wonder what response format is preferred with most developers. I myself like standards like ATOM and Atom Activity Extensions, but I find myself often using JSON.

Of course XML and JSON are just formats and RSS and ATOM are layers on top of XML. Still I think most people prefer using JSON for practical reasons.

Perhaps it's time that we start adding some new structural layers on top of JSON.
